Obituary Richard Iverson

Richard W. Iverson, Sr., 58, of Crown Point, passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at St. Anthony's Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Teri (Lennox) Iverson; and their three sons: Rick, Jr. (Beth) of St. John, IN, Randy (Mia Marie Ornelas) of Hobart, and Rob (Michelle, and her son Nikolas Csikos) of Cedar Lake. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Brandon, Skylar and McKenzie Iverson of St. John; brothers: Bob (Sue) of Valparaiso and Larry (Margaret) of Tucson, AZ; sisters: Marge Kaufman and Linda (Ray) Valente both of Crown Point; and several nieces and nephews. Richard was preceded in death by his parents: Nels and Alice Iverson; and nephews: Steven and Tim Ritchie. Richard was a steel worker and retired in 1997 from Nayor Pipe Company in Chicago, IL. The family will have a visitation on Thursday, March 29, 2012 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Memory Lane Funeral Chapel, 6305 W. Lincoln Highway (US 30), Crown Point, IN with a 7:00 p.m. service to follow. Pastor Jay Towne will be officiating. Donations may be made directly to the family.
